The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive, enabling exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability while providing integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, as well as a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additionally, low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords, enhance usability. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
