The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology to ensure high quality and low headroom while providing reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional attributes include a 5 pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
