The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates the latest technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized; a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; and a cooler motor and brake due to a fan-cooled motor. Additionally, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords, are included. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
