The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive, which provides exceptional load control and offers field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality, recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
