The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and demanding environments. Key features include "The Guardian": smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists are equipped with a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist-on time, a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler operation for both the motor and brake. Additional attributes consist of low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each unit is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
