The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology to ensure high quality and low headroom, offering full-featured performance suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist-on time. The hoists also feature a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake enabled by the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Each hoist is UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceeds the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
