The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and an integral counting hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Furthermore, the hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
