The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists are equipped with a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral hour count functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features consist of a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor providing a cooler motor and brake operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Every hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
