The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that enables speed adjustability along with integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
