The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are built with the latest technology to ensure high quality and reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. The kit includes features such as "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, a 5-pocket load sheave reduces vibration and extends chain life, while a fan-cooled motor ensures a cooler motor and brake. The hoists also feature low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
