The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and variable frequency drive with speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists feature a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor for a cooler operating environment, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
