The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and offers field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features of these hoists include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability along with integral hour count functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; and a fan-cooled motor contributing to cooler motor and brake operation. The hoists also come with low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
