The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and demanding environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists feature a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake temperatures, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity per ASME B30.16.
