The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with the latest technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and hoist operating time, and a 5 pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The hoists are equipped with a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake temperatures, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
