The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers excellent load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and variable frequency drive functionality that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour counting capability, recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, these hoists are equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS regulations, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
