The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists that ensure reliable performance in various environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Furthermore, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying that each has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
