The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a variable frequency drive that enhances load control and allows for field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists come equipped with a variable frequency drive that offers speed adjustability and an integral hour counter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features include a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies factory load testing at 125% of the rated capacity in compliance with ASME B30.16.
