The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is engineered with advanced technology and features a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists also feature a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for improved cooling of the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16, ensuring compliance and reliability for users.
