The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington offers high quality and low headroom designs, utilizing the latest technology for reliable performance in various environments. The kit includes features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
