The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology to ensure high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance suitable for both routine and demanding working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to a fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, following ASME B30.16 standards.
