The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that disengages only when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability. Additional specifications include integral hour count functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time, a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that keeps the motor and brake cooler. The hoists come equipped with low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All models are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
