The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology to deliver high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance suitable for both routine and demanding work environments. The kit includes "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist operating time, and a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and enhance chain longevity. Additional features include a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation for the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
