The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, ensuring high quality and low headroom for full-featured operation. Each hoist includes "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which features a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. They come equipped with grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additional features include a cooler motor and brake thanks to a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting ROHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
