The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, delivering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists suitable for both routine applications and harsh working conditions. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain for enhanced durability, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist-on time. The five-pocket load sheave reduces vibration and prolongs the chain's lifespan, while the fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler operating temperatures for both the motor and brake. Additionally, the hoists feature low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
