The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed using the latest technology, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists are equipped with a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to a fan cooled motor. Additional specifications include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
