The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology to ensure high quality and low headroom, delivering reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to a fan-cooled motor, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords for added convenience. They are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16 standards.
