The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. Additional attributes include a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave for reduced vibration and extended chain life, and a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor. The hoists also come equipped with low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
