The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake achieved through a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with environmentally friendly RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
