The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered for durability and efficiency, featuring a push/pull trolley that allows for low headroom operation. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as grade 80 nickel-plated load chain for enhanced durability. The hoists also come equipped with a count hour meter that tracks the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler operation of the motor and brake. Additional features include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 and are built in compliance with ROHS requirements, exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
