The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under-the-cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a maximum 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized. The hoists come equipped with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability alongside integral count hour functionality that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
