The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington include a range of advanced features designed for high performance and reliability in various working conditions. Each hoist is equipped with "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is powered, ensuring safe operation. The hoists utilize a grade 80 nickel plated load chain and include a count hour meter to track lowering starts and hoist operating time. They feature a five-pocket load sheave that mitigates vibration and enhances chain longevity, along with a fan-cooled motor that maintains cooler operating temperatures for both the motor and brake. Additional features consist of low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, manufactured to be environmentally friendly complying with RoHS regulations, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolleys come with a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced wear on beams. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16 standards.
