The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control with field adjustable two speeds, achieving up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian," which utilizes smart brake technology via a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is powered, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive enables speed adjustability and has integral hour count functionality to display the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time. Additionally, it boasts a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to its fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
