The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which incorporates a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional specifications include a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Furthermore, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
