The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," which is a smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists come equipped with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral hour count functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. They also feature a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has undergone factory load testing to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
