The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a motorized trolley, designed for high quality, low headroom applications that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoists are equipped with "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. They also include a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additional features comprise low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has undergone factory load testing to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
