The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features consist of a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
