The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, offering high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance suitable for both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features "The Guardian," a smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time, a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor contributing to cooler motor and brake operation. Additionally, it includes low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers, which enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
