The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, delivering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; and a cooler motor and brake system thanks to the fan-cooled motor. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Furthermore, each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
