The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed utilizing the latest technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time, a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to a fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
