The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides excellent load control and offers field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists come equipped with a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, as well as integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, they have a 5 pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The package includes plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
