The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is designed with the latest technology and features a motorized trolley, offering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that results in a cooler motor and brake. Other attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
