The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered using advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists suitable for both routine and severe working environments. The hoists incorporate features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Other specifications include a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, the cooler motor and brake benefit from a fan-cooled design, while low profile upper and lower limit switches enhance safety and usability. Each hoist is equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly through RoHS compliance, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. All units come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
