The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that enables exceptional load control and allows for field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that provides speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to track and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a fan-cooled motor resulting in cooler motor and brake operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with ROHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
