The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology along with a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working conditions. The hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a cooler motor and brake attributed to its fan-cooled design. Additional features consist of low-profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that facilitate smoother trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, compliant with ASME B30.16.
