The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom while delivering reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist includes "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time. Additionally, it features a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. All hoists are supplied with a test certificate verifying they have been factory load tested to 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
