The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and incorporates a motorized trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that perform reliably in both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. All hoists come with test certificates verifying factory load tests conducted at 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
