The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is engineered with advanced technology that includes a motorized trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time. Additionally, it features a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and prolong chain life, a cooled motor and brake assisted by a fan cooled motor design, and low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley incorporates a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for improved trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Every hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
