The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is designed using the latest technology and incorporates a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which consists of a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include an extremely durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
