The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with state-of-the-art technology and feature a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom while offering dependable performance in both routine and severe working conditions. Key attributes of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are equipped with a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that facilitate smoother trolley motion and minimize beam wear.
