The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed using the latest technology and incorporate a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time. It also includes a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features an extremely durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
